Hello! I am Gemma Neeleman an artist with a long (and sometimes rocky) road. Ever since I was a kid I have been creative in multiple kind of ways. I started to really draw more in highschool when I was about 12 years old.
My parents told me that I should choose something other than art, because there is no work in art (There is, but I won’t lie, it isn’t always easy). I then tried to stay away from art, but that never really worked out. I think you can say that art has always been my way to express myself and that never changed (I even had people just coming to a bar where I worked to see how my drawings were coming along).
So of course I ended up being an artist after all… And I have to add I am happy with that! In 2017 I started the website temma.nl on which I started to sell cards and I started to make personalized cards.
When I think of myself I like to think of a combination of art and technical skills. Both computers and art intrigue me. One of the things I pride myself on, is that I love adding skills to my palette. Because I love learning new things so much I became like a sponge when it comes to gaining knowledge. If you are considering hiring me for a job and you put me in a new situation I’ll see it as a chance to grow.
Are you interested in my art? Don’t be hesitant to contact me! I do make commissioned art too!
